1) What services do you offer?

We specialize in general contracting and landscape construction, including retaining walls, patios, pools & spas, fences, pergolas, excavation, sheds, concrete, grading, project management and more. We often collaborate with skilled trades to deliver complete outdoor and structural solutions — from concept to completion.

2) Do you offer design services?

Yes, we do. Whether you're starting with a full vision or a vague idea, we can guide you through the design process to ensure your project is both beautiful and functional. We also work alongside talented designers and engineers when needed, depending on the scope.

 

3) Do you do the work yourselves or hire subcontractors?

We do both. Some work is completed in-house by our experienced team, while other tasks — such as electrical, paving, or plumbing forming — are handled by trusted subcontractors we’ve built relationships with over time. We manage every detail to ensure the quality stays consistent from start to finish.

 

4) How do you price your projects?

We price projects based on a detailed scope of work. Each estimate includes materials, labor, equipment, and management time. We're not the cheapest — and that's on purpose. We believe in fair pricing for quality work that stands the test of time. You'll always know what you're paying for and why.

 

5) Do you provide free quotes?

Yes, we offer free initial estimates. For more complex projects, or those requiring on-site consultations, we may charge a small fee — but we’ll always tell you upfront. That fee is often credited back if you move forward with the project.

 

6) Are you licensed and insured?

Absolutely. We are fully insured and operate legally and professionally. We also work only with subcontractors who carry the proper insurance and certifications for their trade.

 

7) What areas do you serve?

We're based in Nova Scotia, and primarily serve HRM, West Hants, East Hants, Kings County, Chester, Annapolis and surrounding communities. If you’re outside that range, feel free to reach out — we may still be able to help.

 

8) How far in advance should I book?

The earlier, the better. We typically book out several weeks (or months) during peak season. If you’re aiming for a spring or summer project, we recommend reaching out in the winter or early spring to get the ball rolling.

 

9) What if I have questions during the project?

Communication is a top priority at Nova Peak. You’ll always know who to contact and can expect timely, honest updates throughout your project. We don’t leave clients guessing — it’s just not how we operate.

 

10) Do you offer warranties?

Yes. We stand behind our work and offer warranties on workmanship and certain materials, depending on the product or service. If something’s not right, we want to know — and we’ll make it right.
